Visit Details: Local NY state park that I visit regularly.

This NY State Marine Park offers more than just boating docks and slips for Spring, Summer, Fall boaters. It's open year round and there are mixed use trails for biking, skating, dog walking and birding. There is an Osprey Nest that is occupied every year and most years you will see new chicks being reared until they've matured enough to hunt on their own. You'll see waterfowl, hawks and if you're lucky you may spot a blue bird or two. There is also a dog park that has both a large breed area and a separate small breed area.

It's right next to Cass Park which is a local Ithaca park. The parks are not physically separated so people wander between the two parks based on the trails they're on and the activities they're engaging in.

We walk our dogs in Allan Treman and/or Cass Park throughout the year and sometimes let them run in the dog park if it's not too crowded.
