Visit Details: June 2004, Part of my cross-country roadtrip.

This National Monument was an unexpected delight to visit. It wasn't on my list of planned places to see, but I saw it on the map and it was on my way to Zion National Park so I stopped to take a look. I'm glad I did, it was an awesome place with a great overlook.

Even the approach to the park was quite nice ...

Once you enter the park and get up to the overlook, the views are really stunning!

Took a hike on what I believe was the South Rim Trail. It's been so long I can't really remember, but I know I came across the Ramparts Overlook which is listed as being on the the South Rim Trail, so...
